Telemedicine Program

With the commitment to offering more of everything, ATOM cooperates with Myanmar’s leading healthcare centre, Trust Oo Co., Ltd to provide free and unlimited 24/7 heath-related teleconsultation services to customers, especially those who are living in rural and remote areas where healthcare facilities and services are insufficient or not readily accessible in most of the cases.This initiative is part of ATOM’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) pillar of Digitalization of Health and Education. It is particularly beneficial for underserved communities, improving access to healthcare services and aims to benefit the people from rural areas and underserved communities as 70% of Myanmar's population lives in such areas. This initiative will enable all our customers to teleconsulting with healthcare professionals 24/7, and customers can access this service by calling hotline 7887 free of charge.


Specifically, Telemedicine program aims to  -

In addition, ATOM is currently offering a five-month campaign from 1st May to 30th Sept 2024 which customers can participate and win exciting prizes by using the free telemedicine service.


Monthly Lucky Draws
ATOM customers who call 7887 for a medical consultation lasting at least one minute will be eligible for the monthly lucky draw. Trust Oo and ATOM will randomly select 11 winners per month (a total of 55 winners across five months) and provide them with health supplements, mobile phones, and family wellness kits, including an oximeter, blood pressure machine, thermometer, first-aid kit, and weight scale.


Major Medical Treatment Support
ATOM customers who are struggling with health care costs can register for major medical treatment support by calling 7887. This is a one-time prize awarded to two individuals at the end of the campaign period. To be eligible, customers must make a minimum of three calls to 7887 for a medical consultation lasting at least one minute each, spread across different months during the campaign period. 


Impact: Over 130,000 patients consulted (as of Feb 2024)

Participation in Telemedicine Campaign
Monthly Prize
•    Each month, customers who engage with the 7887 Healthcare Call Center by making a minimum of one phone call lasting at least one minute each time to 7887 hotline using ATOM SIM will be eligible for a prize draw.

Major Clinical Assistance Prize
•    The ATOM users who are facing difficulties in tackling their health issues can reach out to 7887 for free of charges and get themselves registered for the prize pool.
•    At the end of the campaign period, customers who engage with the 7887 Healthcare Call Center by making a minimum of 3 calls within campaign period (each consulted in a different month throughout the campaign), lasting at least one minute will be eligible for the prize.
