Requirements for SIM Registration and Ownership Check

As per the announcement from Post & Telecommunication Department, starting 1st April 2019, only two SIMs per ID can be registered.

The purpose of having this policy is:

- To secure the Mobile Financial Service safely

- To have consumer protection

- To have proper process for SIM lost/ damaged conveniently.

The list of IDs for SIM registration are:

1.NRIC card

2.Passport (only for foreigners)
