ATOM and Myanmar Airways International Form Strategic Partnership to Drive Innovation and Deliver Better Customer Experiences

Yangon, Myanmar, 13 July 2023 – ATOM, the provider of Myanmar’s best 4.5G network, and Myanmar Airways International (MAI), a leading airline serving routes across Myanmar and the region, have joined forces in a strategic partnership. This collaboration, marked by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on 12 July 2023, reflects ATOM and MAI’s commitment to serving customers in better ways as part of a ‘customer first' approach, and represents a new way of cooperation in the development of the telecommunications and aviation industries. Through this MOU, both companies are committed to exploring and implementing various areas of collaboration, which will bring mutual benefits to both organisations and their customers.

Under this strategic partnership, ATOM will become the Preferred Telecommunications Partner of MAI, while MAI will be designated as the Preferred Airline Partner of ATOM. Together, they will prioritize collaborative initiatives for all customers of ATOM and MAI, while supporting MAI with telecommunication services for its operations. The partnership will also open doors for exploring co-branding opportunities and fostering commercial collaborations.

ATOM and MAI will explore offering services such as roaming packages with various benefits, exclusive access to airport lounges, and as well as joint loyalty programme activities for both customers.

ATOM and MAI will also collaborate to introduce innovative enterprise solutions to address the needs of business customers such as high-speed network infrastructure, bandwidth services, and for business travellers to stay connected.
