ATOM Announces the Mega Draw Winners of its Popular 3D Game, Toh Toh Sidecar

  • Toh Toh Sidecar, a 3D game playable within the ATOM Store App, was played more than 107 million times over the four-month period of 8 September 2022 to 5 January 2023
  • Game players stood a chance to win instant rewards such as data, voice calls or SMS and were eligible for bi-weekly prizes and the Mega Draw campaign
  • ATOM handed over the Mega Draw grand prizes to the lucky winners, which included a BAIC Senova D50 car as well as one MMK 20 million cash prize and five MMK 10 million cash prizes

Yangon, Myanmar, 24 February 2023 – ATOM, the provider of Myanmar’s best 4.5G network, today held a ceremony at the ATOM Head Office in Sule Square to hand over the grand prizes of the Toh Toh Sidecar Mega Draw campaign. The four-month campaign saw 2.13 million ATOM customers play the Toh Toh Sidecar 3D game within the ATOM Store app, marking it as one of the most popular games offered by a telecom operator in the country.

Played more than 107 million times during the period of 8 September 2022 to 5 January 2023, Toh Toh Sidecar grew in popularity among ATOM customers due to the prizes on offer valued at a total of MMK 6 billion. Game players were challenged with having to move the Toh Toh sidecar and avoid obstacles to collect game coins across three difficulty levels.

Players of Toh Toh Sidecar stood a chance to win instant rewards such as data, voice calls, or SMS and were eligible for bi-weekly prizes and the Mega Draw campaign. Adopting a lucky draw format, ATOM drew the winners of the Mega Draw and handed over seven grand prizes which included one BAIC Senova D50 car, one MMK 20 million cash prize, and five MMK 10 million cash prizes.

In addition to the Mega Draw grand prizes, ATOM awarded game players selected via lucky draw with bi-weekly seasonal prizes. The 800 seasonal prizes given by ATOM included 40 iPhone 13 Pro phones, 80 Samsung Galaxy S22 phones, 80 iPad Air 5 devices, 240 Samsung Galaxy A23 phones and 360 Oppo A16 phones.

Customers could use the ATOM network to play the Toh Toh Sidecar game in the ATOM Store app without incurring data charges. While playing the game during the campaign period, customers could collect Grand Prize tickets for the Mega Draw. At the end of the campaign period, ATOM selected the top 50 finalists of the Mega Draw using an electronic lucky draw system. Customers who had more Grand Prize tickets had higher chances of being one of the top 50 finalists. The winners of the grand prizes were then drawn from the top 50 finalists.
